Student Visa Requirements

1. Must submit all original documents.

2. Passport should be valid for
at least 6 months after the intended date of departure fr4om Ireland.

3. 3 recently taken passport size
photographs.

4. Letter of Acceptance from the
college, confirming you have been accepted and enrolled on a course of
full-time education, involving a minimum of 15 hours organized daytime tuition
each week.

5. This letter should specify the
course you will be studying.
6. It should also confirm the
amount of fees payable for your course, and that this amount has been paid.


Note:
1. Where the course fees are less
than Euro 6,000, fees must be paid in full to the college, prior to applying
for your visa.

2. Where the course fees are in
excess of Euro 6,000, you must pay at least this amount prior to applying for
your visa.

3. If the college has taken out
medical insurance on your behalf, details of this must be contained in this
letter of acceptance.

4. Evidence of sufficient funds
of support for the duration of stay (e.g. statement of earnings, bank
statement, traveler's checks etc.)

5. You must provide evidence that
you have attained the necessary level of academic achievement required to
follow your chosen course.

6. All educational certificates

7. If employed, employment
documentation will be needed or if still in school, letter from school
releasing you from studies.

8. Proof of accommodation if possible

9. Letter from your family
offering financial support if available

10. Letter from college
confirming payment of course fees & if applicable accommodation charges.

11. Completed Visa Application
form

12. English Language Proficiency
Certificate.

13.  Original documents are required and must be
in English or accompanied by a notarized translation of same.

A. Medical Insurance


1. Your eligibility for public health
services depends on your country of origin, the duration of your stay in
Ireland and your financial situation. With regard to hospitalization for non-EU
students (Bangladeshi Students are Non EU Students), if you are undertaking a
full time course of study for at least one year, you are classed as
"ordinarily resident" in Ireland, and are therefore entitled to
public patient facilities.


2. The major universities and institutes of
technology have medical centers on campus, or arrangements with General
Practitioners (GPs) based nearby. This is a free service. If you are unable to
see the doctor at your university, GPs are widely available in Ireland and
their services can be obtained at most times of the day. They generally charge
about ?40 for a consultation. For more information on public healthcare

 B. Working in Ireland


1. In general, Non EU nationals  must have a permit to work in Ireland.


2. Students are allowed to work for periods
of up to 20 hours per week during the school term and up to 40 hours per week
during official school holidays.

 D. Credit Transfer Facility


1. Students may apply for credit transfer
program at undergraduate or postgraduate level in Ireland.


2. The maximum amount of credit that may be
granted normally is not greater than 50% of the course.


3. Most of the Irish universities consider
minimum "B" grade for acceptance.


4. You have to submit the following documents to your target

c. Also include an official letter from head
of the school/department of your university, from where you have already
completed the courses.


d. Detailed course outlines (Official Copy)
